Neolithic Pottery Workshop and Talk at Clitheroe Castle

As part of the Festival of Archaeology join Dr Rick Peterson from the University of Lancashire for a pottery workshop and find out how this new material would have had a radical effect on how people lived their lives.

Death and Burial in Bronze Age Clitheroe

30 June - 31 October

In 2018, a Bronze Age burial site was discovered on the outskirts of Clitheroe. The cremation urns are currently on display at Clitheroe Castle Museum, offering a rare opportunity to reflect on early Bronze Age burial practices.
