Join Académie Glorianna, specialists in historical swordsmanship, for an action-packed May bank holiday weekend.


Watch combat demonstrations, handle replica weapons and drop into bitesize talks throughout both days. Featured weapons include the backsword and longsword. This is a free, drop in event so come along and enjoy at your own pace.


Death and Burial in Bronze Age Clitheroe

30 June - 31 October

In 2018, a Bronze Age burial site was discovered on the outskirts of Clitheroe. The cremation urns are currently on display at Clitheroe Castle Museum, offering a rare opportunity to reflect on early Bronze Age burial practices.
