Magnificent Miniature Shield Crafts at Clitheroe Castle Museum

Clitheroe Castle Museum

Start: 11:00

End: 16:00

Get creative with our miniature shield crafts! Your young explorers can design and decorate their very own mini wooden shield magnet or badge to take home (£2.00). Museum admission does not apply to take part.

Using felt‑tip pens, create a shield that shows who you are! You could draw a family crest, a fun medieval picture, or even try the famous De Lacy lion. The De Lacy family built Clitheroe Castle and a lion standing on its back legs showed courage.
