A Halloween Tale of Clitheroe’s Wells. Heald Well at the Dog & Partridge pub Start: 18:00 End: 19:00The first public performance of the mystery story, song and video will be performed on Halloween at the Heald Well just outside the Dog & Partridge pub in Clitheroe. All in aid of the Clitheroe Town Wells Conservation Campaign.Long ago, before pipes and valves, the land around Clyderhow was watched over by three ancient spirits - guardians of the sacred springs. They were known not by name, but by their service: The Healer, The Watcher, and The Rememberer.
