The BIG Picnic in the Park

Pack up a picnic and join us for a BIG community picnic on the castle field. We’ll also have craft stalls, a bar, face painting, The Teddy Bears Picnic Trail and a ‘Clitheroe Kids Have Talent’ talent contest.


The talent contest will take part on the bandstand 2-3pmTo take part in the contest, please email your name, age and number of people in your act to president@clitheroechamber.co.uk (16 and under only)


Neolithic pottery workshop

15 July

Join Dr Rick Peterson for a pottery workshop and find out how this new material would have had a radical effect on how people lived their lives. You will then make your own pot.

Pendle Witch Tractor Run

27 July

A leisurely drive through Hodder & Ribble valleys. Starting and ending at West Bradford village hall. Maps available to spectators on the day. Tractors depart at 10am & are expected to return around 1.30pm

The Teddy Bears Picnic Trail

10 August

Collect a trail map from the entry point next to the play park. Look out for teddy bears having a jolly good time using clues. Hand in your completed sheet and we’ll give you a discount ice cream token to spend at either 3c’s cafe or The Milking Parlour
