The Shop Clitheroe winner for June is local Clitheroe mum Mrs Joan Rigby. Born and brought up in Blackburn Joan is married to David, with a grown up son and daughter and 2 grandchildren. Now retired, Joan was delighted to win £50 worth of Shop Clitheroe vouchers and said “ I was so surprised to receive the news that I had won and will look forward to spending my vouchers in various shops and cafés in the town.”
Townsend Record Shop manager Glen, who presented Joan with her vouchers commented “We already have a large and growing collection of vinyl records in-store along with stocks of C.D’s. musical instruments and accessories and are delighted to reward loyal customers with the Shop Clitheroe card. On line we run The Vinyl Store as an add on, but for face to face interaction and advice nothing beats the personal service we provide to all our customers here on Moor Lane.”
Now nearing its 7th Anniversary, Shop Clitheroe run By Clitheroe Chamber of Trade and promoted by the Clitheroe Advertiser has rewarded card holders with thousands of pounds worth of prizes and vouchers. The card is free to all and they can be picked up at any participating business.
