Clitheroe Christmas Festival 2014
Details:
Come to Clitheroe on Saturday 6th December where Santa will be arriving by train before travelling through town on his sleigh and sit in his Grotto from 11am - 4pm.
There will be street entertainment all day with performances of A Christmas Carol and a pop up Apocethary bar.
Thwaites shire horses will be travelling around the town, there will be Donkeys for Children to ride and the Jazz and Blues, Mod and Food Festivals will be demonstrating what they do best.
The day will end with a walking nativity with children in costume and a short service held at the Crib at the entrance to the castle between 4pm and 5pm.

10:18am Santa arrives in Clitheroe and will parade through town escorted by the Mod festival.
10:30am The Food Festival will be making Stolen and Mince Pies at Intoto Kitchens
11am Santa will be in his Grotto on Market Place until 4pm
11am The Browies will be at Attire
11am Julie will perform Christmas classics in Market Place
11:30am Ribcaged will perform at the United Reform Church (Moor Lane)
NOON Sabden Brownies will be performing at Andertons Butchers
12:30pm Ribcaged will perform at the United Reform Church (Moor Lane)
12:30pm The Food Festival will be making Christmas Coctails with Vinny from Yu & You at Intoto Kitchens
1pm Acting the Goat will start their promenade performance from the Castle Entrance and move around town
2pm St Michaels Choir will perform at Dawsons
2pm Julie will perform Christmas classics in Market Place
2pm Danceworks will perform in Swan Courtyard or at the United Reform Church
2:30pm St Mary's craft activities will begin in Swan Courtyard in preparation for the walking nativity
3pm The Food Festival will be making Christmas Party Food at Intoto Kitchens
3pm Clitheroe Ukulele Band wil Perforn at Wellgate
3pm Remedy will perform at the Rose and Crown
3:30pm Ribcaged will perform at the United Reform Church (Moor Lane)
4pm Santa heads back to the North Pole
4:15pm The walking nativity will begin from Swan Courtyard
4:45pm Acting the Goat will start their promenade performance from the Castle Entrance and move around town
5pm There will be a Ghost Walk with Simon Entwhistle
Throughout the day...
The pop-up Apocetahry bar will be open at the top of Moor Lane with live entertainment
There will be Donkey Rides in the Castle grounds between 11am and 4pm
Thwaites Shire horses will be visiting the 4 Thwaites pubs at 20 minute intervals between 11am and 4pm
There will be Facepainting on Castle Street
The inflatable slide will be open on the Rose and Crown Car Park
