Shop Clitheroe's latest winner - Mrs Natalie Nicholls

Natalie being presented with her vouchers by Les Hind of the Castle Chippy

Shop Clitheroe’s latest winner is Mrs Natalie Nicholls who was presented with £50 worth of Shop Clitheroe vouchers by Les Hind of Castle Chippy outside his shop in Moor Lane, Clitheroe. Run by Clitheroe Chamber of Trade and Commerce and promoted by the Clitheroe Advertiser and Times, Shop Clitheroe has given out literally thousands of pounds to be spent in the local economy. Natalie has lived in the Ribble Valley all her adult life and is married to Craig, with 2 daughters and a son.

She is a part time teaching assistant at Ribblesdale High School and one of her hobbies is walking which is an advantage at school as she also co-ordinates the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme for pupils. When told of her win Natalie said “I was really happy to hear that I had won £50 worth of shop Clitheroe vouchers, I have been using the card for several years now and fill one approximately every 4 weeks and it’s easy to do, everyone who regularly shops in Clitheroe should get a card.”

Presenting Natalie with her vouchers was Les Hind of the Castle Chippy, Moor Lane, Les said “My two sons, Sam and Jack and I have had the Chip Shop for 9 years serving locals and visitors alike, 7 days a week. We open at 09:00am every day serving all day breakfasts, Haggis, Saveloys as well as the usual chip shop staples. We have one fryer reserved for Gluten Free products and this is an increasing part of our business. It’s nice to reward regulars with the Shop Clitheroe incentive and it’s free to customers.”
When asked how she might spend her vouchers Natalie smiled and said “I have my eye on a couple of things for myself so it looks like I might be treating myself!”

Shop Clitheroe cards are free to customers and are available from any business displaying the logo of a purple castle. Our picture shows Les presenting Natalie with her vouchers.
